The American Chemical Society's ACS ProSpectives conference series provides industry medicinal chemists and life scientists with focused conferences that explore the discovery, development and production of pharmaceuticals and therapeutics. http://listmailer1.acs.org/t/8044/4760961/4013/0/

Please take at look at first three conferences for 2007:

Crystallization Process Development: Case Studies & Research
http://listmailer1.acs.org/t/8044/4760961/4014/0/
Feb. 25 - 27, 2007 in Cambridge at the Royal Sonesta Boston

This 2-day conference will be split into one day on PAT and process development and one day on solid forms. The conference will feature:
· 10 top academics presenting their latest research on crystal process development and scale-up, ionic liquids in crystallization, melt crystallization, nucleation, co-crystals, and the theory and application of polymorphism to practical pharma problems
· Speakers from Novartis, Eli Lilly, Astra Zeneca, ETH Zurich, SSCI and Solvias AG will all present practical applications of this science to real pharmaceutical systems

Discovery and Selection of Successful Drug Candidates
http://listmailer1.acs.org/t/8044/4760961/4015/0/
April 30 - May 2, 2007 in Boston at the Hotel Intercontinental

This meeting will consist of half-day sessions on the following drivers for the successful identification of drug candidates:
* Target and Lead Discovery
* Structure-Based Design
* Selectivity (Enzyme, GPCR, hERG, etc)
* ADME/Tox
* VP Case Studies on Compounds That Made it to the Clinic ; How They Did It, What They Would Do Differently Today
Roughly 20 case studies will be presented by group leader-to-VP level speakers who work in big pharma and biotech.

Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry
http://listmailer1.acs.org/t/8044/4760961/4016/0/

Thank you Akhyar,

However, many more people will see this event if you post it as a science event rather than a blog entry.

To do so, click on your "Start Here" dashboard at the right, then "create content -> science event".

Let me know if you have trouble,

By akhyar

I have posted this as a blog because to let the people know about these series of conferences. I considered it a general information. However, I will post in the science events subsequently after getting more information about the events to provide a comprehensive detail. I have created CHEMISTRY group and post all relevant information in this blog. Every one who is interested in this group and wanted to receive news should sunscribe it so that they can receive any updated information regarding chemistry. Thanks for giving suggestion.
