The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is a non-governmental research organization. It conducts inter-disciplinary scientific studies on environmental, economic, technological and social issues in the context of human dimensions of global change. IIASA is located in Austria near Vienna and is sponsored by its National Member Organizationsin Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America : http://www.iiasa.ac.at/Admin/DI/docs/IIASA_NMO.html Young Scientists Summer Program The annual Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) is a program for young researchers primarily from IIASA's National Member Organization countries. The YSSP program aims to identify young and talented researchers who can broaden the research base at IIASA by developing new ideas and contributing to ongoing research activities. The registration period for the 2007 YSSP Program is from 1 October 2006 until 15 January 2007. Postdoctoral Program Each year IIASA provides funding for up to two postdoctoral researchers. Luis Donaldo Colosio Fellowship IIASA accepts each year one young researcher with Mexican citizenship for a six to twelve month stay at the Institute. for more information see: http://www.iiasa.ac.at/Admin/YSP/index.html
