Climate Change Award Scheme calls for entries
The UK-China climate change award scheme is a follow up activity of the UK-China climate change reporting workshop. The winners will visit climate and environment research institutions and science media organisations in the UK. This activity is part of the climate cool initiative co-organising by the British Council China and the China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.

Practitioners in mass media and science and technology media, including radio, TV, web, newspapers and magazines in China, Chinese science and technology communicators and postgraduates in the specialty of journalism and communication are welcomed to attend.

Any submitted works should have a climate change theme and have been published or broadcast in the Chinese mainland media, or finished but yet unreleased between 1 Jan 2006 and 31 Jul 2007.

The themes of the works should centre on everything about climate change, including but not limited to the impacts of climate change on the natural/human environment, the international situation to tackle climate change, energy and climate, new energy sources in the future, energy-saving and environment-friendly urban planning programs and other climate change-related aspects.
