The outline of the project proposals on Sustainable Energy in Africa (attachment) is now available. ICSU ROA is now on the match towards the implementation of its 4 science plans. This will be done in collaboration with several interested national, regional and international partners. Kindly disseminate this information and encourage your colleagues and their organizations/institutions and companies to get involved in the implementation of these 2 mega projects in Africa – (a) Energy Models & Scenarios for Africa and (b) Biofuels for Africa.
Looking forward to your active participation,
ICSU Regional Office for Africa is now in position to call for your individual, institutional, corporate, and national active and productive participation in the formulation and implementation of the projects/research areas embodied in the 4 Science Plans of the ICSU Regional Office for Africa.
Kindly go through all the 4 slides (power point presentation), indicate your interest/choice and register your names (plus 1-page CV, maximum length) as suggested in the slides.
WAYS Africa will be introduced to the AU/NEPAD office for S&T at a meeting in May.
