What do you think?

  • Should scientists have a say in how their research gets used in society and the world at large?
  • Will the rapid pace of technological advance bring about cataclysmic events for the human race?
  • Finally, are robots going to annihilate us? ;)

Scientists are some kind of Art Makers for me, hence science "control" is something like an inquisition-but this is my subjective mind

Science will proceed even under tight control I think 

What about your second question: technological advances CAN bring us cataclysmic consequences but we must direct our discoveries at "healing wounds" that we introduced in nature

And what about robots:) I think these guys have to learn a lot yet, and even after they become PhD, they will be the creature of wiser human I think.
