Diversified products of eri sericulture

Eri silk is mostly confined N.E.region of India and spreading to other non-traditional states of India. It gives food through it pupa which contain more than 50% of protein and other essential food elements. Its main fabric product is "Eri Chadar" (eri shawl). Of late various diversified fabrics are made though it is in very limited scale e.g.,
Eri saree,Eri ladies bag,Eri footwear,Eri cap,Eri tie,Eri file folder,Eri quilt,Eri shirt,Eri jacket,Eri denim jean,Eri cotton blended fabric,Eri muga blended fabric,Eri naturally dyed fabric,Eri mulberry blended fabric,and many more......
