The Protein Misfolding and Neurological Disorders Meeting will be held on Dunk Island, near Cairns, Australia, from 17th-19th October immediately preceding the International Peptides conference.

This symposium will focus on the neurochemical mechanisms that underlie these diseases, particularly focusing on the protein misfolding and deposition pathways that constitute the key pathological events in these diseases, as well as including talks on diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

We are pleased to offer a number of ISN sponsored travel fellowships to assist Young Investigators to attend the meeting and to give an oral presentation. These fellowships will cover the registration fee, and a contribution towards travel costs for the applicant.

The amount of the award will be based upon geographic location. To apply, applicants must: * be under 40 years of age at the time of the meeting * submit a completed application form by no later than April 30th, 2007 Applicants will be notified the outcome of their application by May 30th, 2007. Details and the application form are available at: www.proteinmisfolding.org
