The Protein Misfolding and Neurological Disorders Meeting will be held on Dunk Island, near Cairns, Australia, from 17th-19th October immediately preceding the International Peptides conference.

This symposium will focus on the neurochemical mechanisms that underlie these diseases, particularly focusing on the protein misfolding and deposition pathways that constitute the key pathological events in these diseases, as well as including talks on diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

We are pleased to offer a number of ISN sponsored travel fellowships to assist Young Investigators to attend the meeting and to give an oral presentation. These fellowships will cover the registration fee, and a contribution towards travel costs for the applicant.

The amount of the award will be based upon geographic location. The Global Health Council’s 34th Annual International Conference is dedicated to exploring these relationships: how they are built, what they have and can deliver, and how those living in poverty and disease can best benefit. All of these joint efforts are means to our common end: to tackle complex health problems and find solutions to these

problems at all levels, and in so doing, improve the health of the world.

Abstracts are sought that will detail a range of partnerships – among others, between NGOs, the private sector and governments; between and among service delivery, advocacy, research and academic organizations; among institutions based in the Developing World (South-to-South) and between them and those based in industrialized countries; and between bilateral donors, multilateral institutions, and foundations, and those who implement programs
