 Following two very successful conferences in 2010 and 2011 held at the CSIR Conference Centre in Pretoria The 3rd Regional South African YWP Conference is moving to the Western Cape to take place at the Music Conservatorium of the University of Stellenbosch\, South Africa\,. This event will be extended to three days\, from Tuesday\, 16th to Thursday\, 18th July 2013. The conference is expecting 500 delegates from across Africa and beyond.</p>

SUMMARY:Quantum Cryptography School for Young Students 
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Quantum Cryptography School for Young Students (QCSYS) is an exciting week-long program offered to students in Grades 11 and 12. This year the program will run through August 13 — 17\, 2012. The program is run by the Institute for Quantum Computing in conjunction with the University of Waterloo.</p>
 <p>Students will be given a first-hand look into one of the most exciting topics in contemporary science - quantum cryptography. Not only will students be exposed to cutting-edge topics like quantum physics and cryptography - they will have the opportunity to meet some of the most renowned researchers the field has to offer. In addition\, students will get a tour of quantum computing and quantum cryptography experiments.</p>
 <p>High school students ages 15 and older are eligible to apply.</p>
 <p>The QCSYS requires that applicants have taken (or are currently finishing) Grade 11 Mathematics (or higher). Grade 11 Physics\, while not mandatory\, is recommended.</p>
