African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) Project
THE CGIAR GENDER & DIVERSITY PROGRAM (G&D) wishes to recruit a dynamic team to deliver an innovative new project to build up the talent pool of African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD).
Specifically, we are looking for:
a Project Manager: a scientist with expert project management and communication skills, proven leadership ability, and broad knowledge of agricultural research issues in Sub-Saharan Africa;
a Mentoring & Training Specialist: a scientist with expertise in mentoring and training staff, and good knowledge of Sub-Saharan African agricultural R&D networks; and
a Science Communications Specialist: a communications professional with strategic and operational skills spanning a range of media.
All three appointees will possess commitment to the professional development of women, knowledge of Sub-Saharan African agricultural science systems, and highly-developed team skills. The appointees will be supported by two administrative staff.
