2nd annual EPFL Life Science Symposium, Aug. 29-31, 2007 Neuroscience: Molecules, Systems and Diseases - Fellowships

The EPFL School of Life Sciences has launched a series of annual Symposia aimed at welcoming top scientists from all over the world at our campus, to discuss research issues and results in a field alternating between Cancer research (even years) and other fields of life sciences represented at our technological university (odd years). After the first edition in October 2006 -the ISREC Conference on Cancer Research-, we are pleased to announce that this year's symposium, entitled “Neuroscience: Molecules, Systems and Diseases” will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 29th to Friday, Aug. 31st, 2007. Next to our conference program, there will be plenty opportunity to visit the Brain Mind Institute and meet our faculty, post docs and graduate students.

The program features five thematic sessions: Synapses and Networks; Neurodegeneration; Genes and Psychiatry; Sensory Perception; Consciousness. The meeting welcomes contributions by researchers and PhD students, who are invited to submit posters. Registration Deadline: June 15th 2007
