Experienced researcher seeking a challenging position where his extensive research experience, inter-cultural and inter-personal skills can be utilized.

I have almost 8 years of post-PhD experience in measurement of thermophysical, transport and interfacial properties of varieties of pure liquids and liquid mixtures. Currently, I am working on the measurement of hydrate liquid vapour equilibrium (HLVE) data of Methane and Qatari natural gas type mixtures and testing the efficiency of novel low dosage, non-toxic and biodegradable hydrate inhibitors. I have acquired substantial experience in the field of Ionic Liquids working as a post-doctoral researcher at ITQB/UNL, Portugal in one of the leading groups in this area and various other research groups in Europe. I am familiar with a range of techniques for physico-chemical characterization, and using them to study complex, multi- component systems including transport properties, interfacial properties and phase equilibrium. Apart from the precise measurements I am always interested in understanding the outcome properties in terms of the molecular structure of the materials (structure-property correlations) and their prediction using empirical/semi-empirical models and theories.

Throughout my career I have published frequently (> 30 articles) in peer-reviewed journals. My current h-index is 15 with more than 950 citations. I am ranked #95 on highly cited scientists list at Qatar Institutions (
