Searching for Funds

=personal funding=
With online [http://www.ors.duke.edu/find/tools/index.html funding databases], you may search for grant and/or fellowship opportunities that match criteria that you select, such as key words describing your area of research or programming; your status as a faculty researcher, postdoctoral researcher, or graduate student; your citizenship; the location of your research; and the type of funding that you seek; etc.

This the place to braimstorm and delineate fundraising strategies.

==Service provided to organization==
WAYS 2.0 already offers several interesting services:
Searchable database of members
Searchable database of events
International targeted audience to diffuse information

that can be useful for organizations such as : ICSU, UNESCO, TWAS, NRF, Biovision, etc.

===Partnership===
We could ask for regular support via partnership. this will essentially be volunteer based because anyone can register and use the search tools/browse the database anyway. If you
can have something for free why would you pay?

===Service provider===
An other possibility is to restrict the search potential by default and give full access to search tools only to organizations that contribute.
I'm not sure we can set up a dual system that is still appealing for wayers. In other words, is it possible to separate the search functionalities routinely used by individual members from the one required by an organization?

It can be done when a particular service or search function is desirable but not yet availlable. We could set it up upon request and payment. e.g. a search function for members by regions.

==Sponsorship==
This is dealing with foundations and private company.

== donation/charity==
We should add a donate page:
if you like the service we provide, WAYS needs your help please feel free
to contribute to our sustainability.
