Antonio M. Battro, Chief Education Officer, One Laptop per Child, USA
A brief overview of the OLPC project was given, as well as a demo of the interface and webcam facilities. It was stressed that OLPC is set up as a non-profit, and that the laptops are actually the property of the students, and not of the schools or agencies.
Gaell Mainguy, World Academy of Young Scientists (WAYS)
Gaell Mainguy gave an overview of various web-based tools and projects that hold great promise for knowledge transfer, education, and research. Wikipedia, our own WAYS network, and Second Life were all used as examples of how technology is changing the field.
Daniel Andler, Head of the department of Cognitive Studioes,
Daniel Andler focused on ICT and its role in teaching and learning, as well as a special focus on creating virtual communities, which is deemed as one of the most important aspects.

it is very admiral action which under the project one laptop per child is going on . in my opinion such projects would start in whloe backword countries of the world . because no one can deny from the rapadily groth of IT in the world.
